Last night Disney released Sprit, a single off the upcoming soundtrack for the live-action reboot of The Lion King. The soundtrack is curated and produced by none other than The Lion Queen herself, Beyoncé.

If you didn’t already know, anything Queen Bey touches turns to gold. In her own words she describes the music from this soundtrack as, “reflective” and “contemporary”, paying homage to the original score, while also allowing listeners to create their own imagery.

So while we wait for the heavily sounds of new music from Beyoncé, here are a few reminders that she is also The Soundtrack Queen - giving us soundtrack bops for more than a decade:
