'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' Returns with Black Girl...I Mean Voodoo Magic
Much to my delight, ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ returned to Netflix this weekend!
Of course I’ve already watched all eight episodes, and even though this has been the most…corny season yet, it pays homage to different kinds of magic and witchcraft - and we love diversity!
This season, Sabrina and her satanic coven defend their dominion (and all of Greendale) against pagan gods, with the help of various friends and foes in the magical realm.
Perhaps the most interesting of these, is Mambo Marie.

Marie, and her voodoo magic are highlighted this season, as they play a major role in defeating “The Dark Lord”. She is brought to the coven by Prudence, who believes they can all learn from Marie and her ancestors - YASS black girl magic!
