A Wedding Made for a Princess

On September 29th 2018, I had the honor of witnessing Kamisha Benton, and Mark Launiu, owner of MADE Urban Apparel, become Mr. and Mrs. Launiu at The Guild in Kansas City, MO.

Of all the weddings I attended this season (and trust me, there were a lot), this one was the most dreamy - everything you’d imagine a wedding could be. Just the right amount of guest; an intimate, yet inviting ceremony / reception; and a ton of magical moments.

The theme was heavily inspired by Mrs. Launiu’s love for Disney’s Princesses. Everything from their save-the-date to their sendoff was reminiscent of your favorite Happily Ever After moment. On the day of, the couple exchanged vows in front of their own giant fairytale book, as guests looked on. The centerpieces consisted of carriages and pendulum clocks; and at the stroke of midnight the guests sent the couple off under a rainfall of sparkles.

While nothing in the world can recreate the magic of that night, photographer, Melanie Sanchez, does an amazing job of capturing the essence. View the gallery below.
