Offset Drops 'Father of 4' & Migos Continue to Own Their Visual Concepts

Offset recently released his first solo project, and the visuals are arguably more important than the project itself. That’s not to say his project didn’t deliver, because the album is appropriately ‘Atlanta’, true to his sound, and contains several bops. ‘Father of 4’ starts off mellow and conscious, then progresses to a more upbeat and free-spirited vibe. We can obviously see a more conscious Offset through his visuals - namely the hieroglyphics behind his family portrait, which pay homage to ancient Egypt, a time and place where men bore many children with many wives. Admittedly, I wasn’t too keen on the visuals at first, but I quickly grew to appreciate the idea as well as the general direction he is going with his work overall.

No matter how you feel about Offset, his project, or the artwork, you can’t hate on a man loving his kids…that just makes you whack #andtheculturewinsagain.
