10 Iconic Met Gala Looks From the Past 10 Years

The Met Gala is less than two weeks away, and we’re super excited for this years theme, “Camp: Notes on Fashion”. The theme is said to examine how the elements of irony, humor, parody, pastiche, artifice, theatricality, and exaggeration are expressed in fashion. Lady Gaga is also the host of this year’s party (alongside Harry Styles and Serena Williams), so expect the works!

The Met Gala is known for spawning iconic fashion moments. In the past decade alone, Rihanna has given us the longest train in Met Gala history, and Solange served us a durag and Florida Water in Iris van Herpen. Between the theme / hosts, and today’s social climate, something tells me this year will go down in history as one of the most memorable in fashion history.
